Michael Benjamin has an extensive engineering background in the space industry on both the operational and project/program management sides. As part of a team that brought new missions into operations, Michael wrote and verified Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), daily mission operations procedures (SOPs) including anomaly recovery procedures, and training materials for new personnel, performed orbit management tasks including orbit planning and maintenance, and participated and lead technical and organizational process improvement events. Utilizing the process improvement methodologies that Michael has brought to Baxis Advisors, he advocated for and was an essential team member for continuous process improvement in the operational, development, and program management environment.

Michael leveraged his experience, applying it to the project and program management side of the space business, specializing in requirements management for both user and system requirements, engineering reviews, sitting on engineering review boards, and leading technical and team process improvement events. He specialized in requirements definition and verification throughout the Systems/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Michael’s full scope of experiences in requirements, program management and space operations provides him unique insights into all facets of space missions and with his process improvement experience, maximizes operational, technical and team efficiencies for maximum mission success.
